Photography Festive500 #inonego

Rapha’s Festive 500 is a Strava-based challenge to cover five hundred kilometers by bike between christmas and new years eve. They give out a price for the person who documents their ride in the most unique way possible. My brother, a fanatical cyclist, came up with the idea to see if he could ride all of it in one huge ride from Paris to Haarlem. Together with Michel Bosch, we formed a crazy media team. It led to the longest work day I have ever had(43 hours!) taking pictures and riding B-roads. In the end it was very worth it. The video went viral. The photography made it to the three biggest cycling blogs and some of the most prominent magazines in cycling. And the team took home first place and a ton of honourable mentions.
