Every now and then we work on a project where most of the magic happens before we even pick up a camera. For this shoot we had to work from a bare bones concept briefing from client Amnesty International. For an online commercial with a paid distribution, we had to injected some Rotgans creativity. We rewrote the script and proposed a high-contrast B/W visual language. To emphasise the raw reality of the living conditions of refugees on Lesbos. The result was a strong visual that exceeded the client’s expectations.
